Arusha – Arusha National Park – Serengeti NP – Ngorongoro – Tarangire NP – Arusha

6 days – 5 nights
From $ 3000 USD/pers. Flights not included.
Degressive prices from 4 pers.

1st day: Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha
Arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, customs clearance and baggage claim. Welcome by your English speaking driver/guide and short briefing. You will dive directly into the Tanzanian fauna and flora by leaving for the Arusha National Park. You will then walk, accompanied by a ranger, and approach your first wildebeest, zebras, giraffes and if you are lucky also some elephants. At the end of the day, you reach your hotel in Arusha. First night in Arusha.

2nd day: Arusha – Tarangire – Karatu
You leave early in the morning for the park of Tarangire. All day trip in the Park, considered as one of the most beautiful refuges of wild life in the country. It covers an area of 1770,86 square miles and is renowned for its concentration of wild animals.

Many animals can be seen in the Park that would not be found in other Parks like the small kudu, the oryx, the elk, and the most famous antelope, the great Kudu. In this Park we find the highest density of baobabs in the world. The very numerous elephants cut the bark of these mythical trees to quench their thirst. They are indeed real water pumps. At the end of the day, you climb to Karatu, at the gateway to the Serengeti, where you will spend the night.

3rd and 4th days: Karatu – Serengeti Park
You leave early in the morning for the famous Serengeti National Park. This park covers more than 14’000 km2 and is the oldest in Africa. The highlands are 1500 meters above sea level, and its name, pronounced Siringiti in Maa, means “the endless plain”. It is a mythical place for the diversity of its landscapes: the savannah with the immense plains in the south, the wooded and hilly regions in the west, the Kopje regions in the east and the shrubby savannah in the north. It is also mythical for its highest concentration of cats in the world, with nearly 3000 lions, cheetahs, leopards but also many buffalos, elephants, giraffes, gazelles, etc. You spend two nights there.

5th day: Serengeti Park – Ngorongoro  Crater
After two nights in the Serengeti, breakfast at the hotel and departure for the Ngorongoro Crater, considered by some as the 8th wonder of the world. The crater, or caldera, is 20 km in diameter and is home to an incredible wealth of wildlife. You will live exceptional moments in the middle of all the big mammals of East Africa (elephants, lions, rhinoceroses).  In the middle of the crater is a large lake formed by the rains which hippos and buffalos enjoy. Overnight in Karatu.

6th day: Karatu – Arusha
Return to Arusha during the day for a return to Europe or to extend the stay in Zanzibar.

Competent and nice people

Hello, a small local agency with very competent and nice people. We spent ten days with Edgar who knows the parks very well and who shows you wonders. We saw all the animals we wanted. We felt comfortable from the moment we met and safe throughout the trip. He speaks French and English very well, knows all the animals perfectly. The Maasai experience touched us deeply with its authenticity. If you are going to Tanzania, you absolutely have to go through this agency. Thanks for everything, we will be back!

What an adventure !

Ten days with Edgar in Safari Paradise! A dream organization, irreproachable reliability and an always relaxed atmosphere! First, Lake Natron, the waterfall, Mount Ol doinyio Lengai, first nature on foot with giraffes and zebras almost at hand! After, departure for the Serengeti. Edgar is king of the road. We followed the migration from southern Ndutu to the northern Serengeti. Edgar has a lot of humor, the atmosphere is always laughing! We finished our journey among the Maasai. A great moment ! Between Kili, Mount Meru and Mount Ol doinyio Lengai, in a village still far from civilization and tourists, closer to traditional life, we participated in the milking of goats, cows and saw how they shoot with an arch in the carotid of a cow to collect blood without injuring the animal and which they will drink while still hot, mixed with the milk just milked. Unforgettable memories! Il Maasai hero, a small but high quality agency! We absolutely recommend.

One of our most beautiful trips

Here we are. Back to reality. What a trip, what experiences we had from the Savannah to Zanzibar! Thank you Edgar for putting together an exceptional safari. We chose the tent option and what a great family adventure we had. We were with Edgar, who taught us and shared so many things, the animals of the savannah of course, but also his Maasai culture… Hussein, the chef, delighted us with his cuisine and his kindness. It was with heavy hearts that we left Edgar and Hussein. And the kids loved them too. And that for us, parents, is priceless. Many thanks to this great team.

This safari was a slap in the face…

We didn’t expect to see so many animals from so close. Our guide, Edgar, is very experienced, outstanding driver and able to spot a cheetah from a great distance while driving! His knowledge of animal habits, which he will be happy to share, is impressive. We really appreciated that he was able to move away from the main stretch of the park to go on smaller paths, letting us enjoy the calm, surrounded by a desert of greenery and tall grass, watching for the slightest movement.
